Colour emerges, light diffuses. New beginnings.
This series of watercolour paintings on cotton rag paper are derived from daydreams and living skies, reflecting on the change embody in spring. The dominant skyscapes are from observation of Okanagan skies studied plein air. They combine with imagined woods and gardens filled with breezy grasses and delicate flowers.
